Olio nuovo is only available when the harvest season starts in the country of origin if unfiltered it has a shelf life of 3 to 6 months and is not meant to be kept long.

It’s made to be enjoyed as a seasonal treat. It is more perishable than other extra virgin olive oils which have been allowed to settle or have been filtered before bottling.

Olio nuovo which has been filtered typically has a best before of up to 2 years if stored correctly.  Store any extra virgin olive oil in a cool, dark cabinet away from heat and light, preferably in a dark coloured bottle.

A: Yes, we offer contract processing for other growers.
Q: What is the shelf life of Extra Virgin Olive Oil?
A: The key to enjoying the most flavourful and healthful olive oil is freshness. Olives are a fruit, and olive oil is their juice—best enjoyed fresh. Unlike wine, olive oil does not improve with age. It is at its peak immediately after pressing and typically has a best-before date of 18–24 months.

A: No, we don’t offer farm gate sales.

A: We grow Frantoio, Correggiola, Arbequina, Manzanillo, Koroneiki, Leccino, and Coratina.
